WHERE I COME FROM
Hailing from the Midwest, I decided to explore other areas of the country, settling in the Maryland in 1993. After deciding to stay in the state, I pursued a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. I moved to Anne Arundel County in 1999.
DEDICATION STARTS AT HOME
My five children have attended District 4 public schools; three have graduated, one attends Piney Orchard Elementary School and one attends Arundel Middle School. Their attendance in our schools spurred my engagement in parent-teacher-student organizations at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I have been active in the Piney Orchard Elementary School PTA since 2005, Arundel Middle School PTA since 2011, Arundel High School PTSO since 2014, and the Arundel High School Boosters since 2023. I am also an avid sports enthusiast and youth coach and currently serve as the president of the Gambrills-Odenton Recreation Council (GORC).
